Good Morning,
Today I want to talk about a very misunderstood notion about Laptop Batteries.
most folks believe that the battery in their Laptop should stay in the machine at all times...
How ever this can damage the battery over time, The advice I give to my clients is to remove the main battery when it reads fully charged if using the Laptop while the AC Adapter is plugged into the wall.
This will extend the life of the battery and prevent it from becoming damaged.
Until Next time Have a Great Day.
Thanks

Thanks Paul - I think most of us are totally unaware of these kinds of care tips. Appreciate you looking after us.
ReplyDeleteAnd for those of you who need to make a mental note to whom you should turn when your laptop hiccups, take note of Paul.
I came to him recently, laptop in hand, head held low, and feeling absolutely helpless. I felt like my lifeblood had been drained because my laptop crashed.
Good-natured Paul gave me a glimmer of hope when we first met and by the time I left his office and my beloved laptop in his care, I knew I had arrived at the right place.
Much to my relief my dear little machine was returned to me the next day with full functioning applications, my files, and my confidence... I was back in business...
Not only did Paul help me quickly, efficiently and within my budget, he talked to me - as one human to another. Paul has a wonderful balance between being a computer techy and a regular guy on the street... a very rare combination with the tech guys we so often run across these days.
Thanks Paul... you're good - you're very good at what you do! Let me shout it from the roof tops and send people your way.

I always take my battery out at when I am finished with its use for the day. It was a suggestion made by the Apple Associate when I initially purchased my notebook. Since I have been lucky enough to gain this information from my associate, I have told everyone about this, and many react with skepticism. This post is the first time I have seen it as a way of extending your battery life, and confirms my confidence in it.
